Fortnite: New Pirate Theme Teaser Released for Season 8

Fortnite fans are eagerly waiting for the new season 8 to release as they are currently indulged with the ongoing Overtime challenges.

The new season 8 is expected to bring a lot of new content for players to enjoy and on the other hand, a lot of in-game items are expected to be vaulted and removed from the game.

For example, Epic recently showcased its intentions to vault the X-4 Stromwing Plane from the title, and other items and cosmetics are going to be added to the title.

Although apart from some tweaks and adjustments, no such clear information is known about the future landscape and in-game map. Still, a new image posted by Fortnites official Tweeter account teased fans with a Pirate theme for season 8.

The teaser image has a hook in the foreground on a bright red background. It is entirely possible that developers at Fortnite are teasing the upcoming season 8 theme through this teaser image.

Many community members and fans are speculating that this teaser image is pointing toward a pirate theme for the upcoming season. Also as the developers have even hinted that they are planning to remove the X-4 Stromwing from the game and possibly they would include a new pirate ship instead of the plane.

The tweet by Fortnite also stated that X Means the spot and Treasure abound which directly hints that the new season 8 theme could be pirates related. Still, there is no specific way to undermine that will the new season indeed feature the pirate theme.

But many players are coming up with their theories of a devastating earthquake to be included in the game which would lead to a complete shift in the map and will split the island into pieces.

As the players are currently experiencing minor cracks while in a match this theory may in fact, turn out to be true. Moreover, if the pirate theme is on its way, it would defiantly feature a pirate ship and possibly loot boxes would also change into treasure boxes.

If Epic Games is indeed planning to bring a pirate theme to the title, then they will have to make a drastic shift in playing style and in-game weapons as current weapons are related to on close land combat.

If the game layout is changed, then developers will also have to change the defensive building mechanics and create a new range of cosmetics which would enhance the in-game experience for the players.
