How to Disable Image Preview in Twitter



If you wish to disable image preview on Twitter, then you can do this procedure in both the Android and iPhone. You cannot remove media previews by going to the official site of Twitter. Here’s how to disable image preview on Twitter.
Steps to Disable Image Preview on Mobile
•    Go to the Twitter application. By clicking on the application, it will open the Twitter feed webpage in case you are signed in already on its official website.
  • In case you are not signed in already in the account associated with Twitter, then the first thing you have to do is to type the email ID and protected the password.
•    Press on the profile symbol. You will get this in the upper left-hand side of the display. It will start showing the pull-down list on display.
•    Press on the Settings and privacy option. You will get this option in the pull-down list. Now, you will get the settings webpage on display.
•    Click on the Display and sound button. It is located in the center of the webpage.
  • You have to go down to the “General” column to get the Display and sound button.
•    Enable the “Media previews” option, and after enabling this option, it will turn into green color. You will get this option on the right-hand column of the webpage. You can also disable the “Media previews” option, and once you enabled that option, it will turn into white color.
  • In case you are the Android user, then press on an azure color menu bar located to the right-hand side of the “Media previews” title for removing the tick mark from that option.
Steps to Disable Image Preview on Desktop
•    Understanding which image preview you wish to block. The Twitter official site will not permit you to stop the image previews, the only thing you can stop on your twitter account annoying content so that this will not appear in the Twitter feed.
•    Go to Twitter. Go to www.twitter.com. You will get the Twitter feed webpage on display in case you are not already signed in.
  • In case you are already signed in, then type the email ID and protected password before moving to the next step.
•    Press on the profile symbol. It resembles a round picture located at the upper side of the webpage. By pressing on it, the pull-down menu starts showing on display.
•    Tap on the Settings and privacy option.
•    Press on the Privacy and safety button.
•    Go down to the “Safety” column.
•    Unselect the “Display media that may contain sensitive content” checkbox.
•    Press on the Save changes option.
•    Verify the changes you had made.
