The method of troubleshooting overheating
  1. Firstly, restart your device.
  2. Then, you need to stop tasks with a lot of resource usage by Task Manager.
  3. After that, run the Power Troubleshooter.
  4. Next, undo overlocking.
  5. Then, update the device drivers.
  6. After that, modify the power settings.
  7. Next, use the integrated graphics card.
  8. Then, restrict the FPS.
  9. After that, replace the charger.
  10. Next, plug in the charger.
  11. Lastly, decrease the temperature by using a cooling pad.
Restart the laptop
  1. Firstly, switch off the device.
  2. Next, unplug the charger.
  3. Then, take out the battery.
  4. After that, you need to wait till your laptop device cools down.
  5. Then, do a long press on the power switch for 20 seconds.
  6. Next, insert the battery.

The method of updating the device drivers
  1. Firstly, press the combination of Windows logo button and X.
  2. Then, look for Device Manager and press it.
  3. Note that the window shall get displayed, see the devices comprising of a yellow triangle having an exclamation symbol. This symbol implies that there is an issue with the driver.
  4. Next, do a right-click on every single one.
  5. After that, choose ‘Update driver software…’. 
  6. Then, choose the option stating ‘Search automatically for updated driver software.’
The method of changing power settings
  1. Firstly, visit the Start menu.
  2. Then, write ‘power’ in your laptop search box.
  3. After that, press on ‘Power and sleep settings’ from the given results.
  4. Next, tap on Additional Power settings. It shall be located on the right-hand side of your screen.
  5. Then, press the Change plan settings shown just on the side of your chosen power plan.
  6. After that, press the Change advanced power settings option.
  7. Then, visit ‘Processor power management’ part.
  8. Lastly, put a lesser amount for ‘Maximum processor state.’
