One of the most well known, established and ever-growing industries is WWE, also known as The World Wrestling Entertainment and it is all ready to release its latest installment of WWE gaming franchise.
It is going to be another action-packed installment, and the game has Brock Lesnar- a one-time UFC champion and leading WWE pro wrestler on the front. The game is set to be released in October of 2019 and is anticipated throughout the globe. The cover was revealed recently, and it contained two stunning screenshots of the gameplay — one of them being Lesnar, the current universal WWE champion and other of Bayley.
The first piece of information regarding the game would be released on 5th August which is pretty late concerning the game’s previous records. But this is not essentially a bad thing considering 2K has constantly been working towards various projects at the same time. That might have kept them busy. There were already rumors that WWE is hauling hefty amounts of money to advertise the game as much as possible. Big names and fan-favorite entertainers like Roman Reigns, Paul Heyman, Sasha, Becky, and Shawn Michaels were shooting all June for the advertising campaign of the upcoming game.
After 2K took over the franchise in 2013 from THQ, it has hired many big starts as The Rock, John Cena, CM Punk, AJ Styles, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Seth Rollins for their cover. According to rumors Roman Reigns and Becky Lynchmay get to feature in the main poster cover of the game, which makes sense considering they are fan favorites and currently the face of the business. Even Becky Lynch was happy to be the first female superstar to feature as the cover face of the game. Becky said that it is her dream to be successful in this field and that the cover is going to be a good stepping stone for the success she is seeking. The latest installment of the franchise is surely going to enrich the experience of the players, and it is expected to release some new moves too.
The latest installment may be the lowest opener for any game under the same belt according to VGChartz (364,738 copies), but the expectations are really high from this game, so this most likely will differ from the openings. Also, the score the game received on Metacritic was pretty decent as it got 77/100 for both PlayStations and Xbox.
