Almost four years later, the original iPhone SE came out as Apple introduced the all new model in April 2020. According to the reports, many people who loved the original SE model would have been filled with joy following the new of new SE launch.
The new SE is reportedly identical to the iPhone 8, but introduces the A13 chipset processor of iPhone 11 as well as uses a 4.7-inch screen.
According to the company, it is a tiny phone that many Apple users love. It is also the tiniest, as well as the most affordable iPhone at the present time. The device is pretty small when compared to the current mobile phone standards. Even it is compared with Galaxy S20 that has a 6.2-inch screen, which is pretty large when compared to SE.
However, the people that love the original iPhone SE will still found it approximately 20 % bigger than the original SE that was released four years back. The screen size of the original SE iPhone was 4 inches.
If you still wish to own a pretty tiny cell phone, then 2020’s iPhone SE will not make you that happy as it is still far larger than your fantasy iPhone SE that was launched about 4 years ago. Some people just want to add unnecessary bulk to their pockets when a smaller phone can do the same job. Considering the fact it has a 4.7-inch display, it is not for the people who want a true tiny powered pack phone.
The news about new iPhone SE with A 13 bionic chip might have thrilled the users that love small size powerful phone. However, when they heard that it is 4.7 inches large, their excitement faded away.
Now, this also means that Apple doesn’t care what people want for, and they simply don’t want to bring the small phones back into the market. No matter how much people loved the original SE, Apple decides to carry on its new iPhone in big screen sizes. However, 2020’s SE is still the smallest set in the market till date.
This does not mean that Apple will not be likely to lower down the screen size of its upcoming smartphones. As per the rumors, Apple will release the iPhone 12 with a 5.4-inch display for the people who love compact devices in their pockets.
I actually agree with Apple’s decision, for it will release only bigger display phones but think about the people who feel uncomfortable or strained while carrying 6 inches of phones in their pocket. Yes, a large screen size means better picture experience, but it is also tough to carry in small pockets.
Think about fitness enthusiasts who want their phones to be as small as possible, along with modern features. While running, jogging, and doing an intense physical workout, they can’t carry a big phone that can make them very uncomfortable. It also adds significant weight to the pocket, and running gets very challenging.
Small phones like the original iPhone SE was a perfect choice for such people who want to keep their phone small and lightweight as much as possible. For moderate people who don’t work out, the latest SE is a perfect choice. It will be a perfect choice for these users.
