Hitman: Three to Launch in Early 2021

Hitman is a stealth-based action game which requires players to go around the world killing specific people, in very specific ways.
The infamous, Agent 47 is back in action. Hitman’s third instalment is all set to be launched early next year, and fans can’t keep it cool. Agent 47, extremely resourceful and famously bald, is a failed actor-turned assassin. He’s given missions to complete which include foul-play(murder) and travels across the world. After much discussion and deliberation, the third part’s location was decided to be Dubai. It will be interesting to watch him ruffle his way through the huge skyscrapers of the financial hub of the middle-east.
A little history of the game
Hitman is a stealth-based action game which requires players to go around the world killing specific people, in very specific ways. It requires skill and tactic and multiple times, out of the box thinking since it isn’t clear how you’re going to complete this impossible mission. For those who haven’t had a taste of it, Hitman is created by IO Interactive and launched the first game back in 2017.
The first game, called Codename 47, shows our anti-hero escaping from a sanitarium, caught and captured there by an unknown enemy. A year later, he is working for the ICA (International Contract Agency) which is a non-existent organization for the rest of the world. His handler is Diana Burnwood, another important character in the series.
There have been seven games up until now, this will be the eighth game chronologically but is named the Third Instalment, as a part of the ‘Hitman: Trilogy’ which covers non-episodic tasks and begins a new chapter in the life of Agent 47. The second instalment sold a whopping 196,343 in its first two days.
What is the correct order to play Hitman?
It is one of the most confusing game-worlds as spin-offs, and standalone are running parallel to streamlined storylines. Here’s a quick list so that you know which sequence to play this game in. It isn’t hard and fast, and these games make complete sense on their own, but it doesn’t hurt to know:
1. Hitman: Codename 47 (2000)
2. Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (2002)
3. Hitman: Contracts (2004)
4. Hitman: Blood Money (2006)
5. Hitman: Absolution (2012)
6. HITMAN™ Instalment One (2016)
7. HITMAN™ Instalment Two (2018)
8. HITMAN™ Instalment Three (Hopefully, January 2021)
Then there are some Spin-Offs:
1. Hitman: Sniper Challenge (2012)
2. Hitman GO (2014)
3. Hitman: Sniper (2015) (Mobile)
And also, two Collections:
1. Hitman Trilogy (2007) (Silent Assassin, Contracts, Blood Money)
2. Hitman HD Enhanced Collection (2019) (Blood Money, Absolution)
Plus, there are also movies, novels and graphic novels.
If it weren’t for the pandemic, IO Interactive- the makers of the game, would’ve launched the game earlier. But that didn’t happen so we’re forced to wait another year to get our hands on this amazing, adrenaline-filled, assassin experience.
Where will you find a new game?
The new part of the hit series will be launched on Microsoft’s Xbox, PlayStations and PC. It will be launched on multiple platforms, but it is unlikely that they will be done on the same day.
The fact remains, the people are excited and awaiting the release and fans cannot keep calm anymore.
