•    Ensure that you choose the More details option located at the end of the display.
•    Search for the Cortana below the processes option.

•    After that, press on the End task button.
•    This procedure will disable the Cortana for a few seconds.
•    Then, you need to start the system again.

•    Go to the File Explorer menu. It resembles a folder symbol which is generally on the toolbar.

•    Search for the file which is named as ‘powershell.exe.’
•    You need to right-click on the file.
•    Choose the “Run as Administrator’ option.

•    Click on the Enter button.
•    Exit the PowerShell window.
•    Start the computer again.

•    Click on the Windows and R keys together on the system keyboard for opening the Run menu.
•    Additionally, right-click on the Start option.
•    After that, press on the Run option.
•    Enter ‘services.msc’ in the search box.
•    Click on the OK button.
•    Search for the Windows Search option located on the menu list.
•    Go through the Status section.
•    In case it indicates ‘Running,’ then this means everything is working properly.
•    In case it is showing the black window, then you need to start it manually.
•    You have to right-click on the Windows Search feature.
•    Choose the Properties option.
•    Now, you will get a new window on display.
•    Change the Startup type option to Automatic.
•    Click on the Start option.
•    Click on the OK button.
